Fresh and timeless films in Estonia’s oldest operating cinema, accompanied by introductions from film experts. A cinema visit with your school group is a unique opportunity for a truly memorable lesson.
Private screenings
We organise private screenings tailored to your class or school group, which take into account the children’s age, the school curriculum, and the goals set for the cinema visit. We can complement the film experience with an introduction to the cinema and film history as well as meetings with filmmakers. Private screenings can be arranged on Monday to Friday during daytime hours with prior agreement.
The ticket price for a private screening of films currently in cinemas is €5 per student, and teachers attend free of charge. The number of participants per screening can range from 20 to 227.
Film selections can be made in several ways:
- asking our team for fitting recommendations;
- choosing a suitable film from those currently showing in cinemas or previously screened;
- coming to the cinema with your own film.
For films not currently in distribution and additional services, we will provide a personalised offer for organising the screening. Payment is made in advance based on an invoice issued by the cinema.
Group visit to a regular screening
For group visits to public screenings in the Sõprus programme, the ticket price is €4 per student, and teachers attend free of charge.
Tickets must be reserved in advance via email. Payment can be made by bank transfer based on an invoice or on-site at the cinema by an accompanying adult, either in cash or by card.
Tallinn Youth Culture Ticket
Sõprus is participating in the Tallinn Youth Culture Ticket program in spring 2026. Through the Tallinn Youth Culture Ticket, the city of Tallinn enables all kindergarten groups and school classes to attend one free educational visit to a cultural institution in Tallinn. The support is aimed at children from Tallinn-based kindergartens and students in grades 1–12 (including vocational schools, private schools, and state educational institutions).
As part of the programme, four screenings will take place:
- April 27 at 14.00 “Seltsimees laps”
- April 29 at 14.00 “Kratt”
- May 11 at 14.00 “Minu pere ja muud klounid”
- May 13 at 14.00 “Fränk”
To register for a visit, please write to oliver@kinosoprus.ee.
Each group can use the support once per calendar year.
The visit is free of charge for the group.
Culture Backpacks support
School visits to Sõprus are supported by the “Culture Backpacks” programme.
This national support measure is suitable for primary and secondary school students, covering ticket purchases, special programmes, and travel costs to the cinema. Read more about the “Culture Backpacks” programme here.
