This gentle tragicomedy, previously thought to be lost, is the fourth part of Aki Kaurismäki’s working-class trilogy (“Shadows in Paradise”, “Ariel”, and “The Match Factory Girl”). The film was awarded the Jury Prize (Prix du Jury) at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was nominated by Finland for the Best International Film Oscar.

During six weeks, we will bring to the audience more than 30 films from contemporary European cinema classics. The screenings of the European Film Month will take place in Sõprus Kai Hall, Noblessner.
