This is the story of an Egyptian woman, of Jewish origin who revolutionized fashion but whose name remains unknown: Gaby Aghion.

Ahead of her time, she became a communist and evolved in the 1950s Saint-Germain-des-Prés intellectual circles. An audacious, emancipated artist, she liberated women from their « Haute Couture » clothes, by creating a light and vaporous outfits, inventing a new idea of prêt-à-porter with Brigitte Bardot, Jackie Kennedy or Maria Callas as clients. She was a pioneer, the world's first female artistic director and the one who brought in designers including Karl Lagerfeld.
