This film tells us the story about a well-known artist Kazymir Malevich and his influence on art of the twentieth century. The main purpose of film is to show and explore the Ukrainian origin of Malevich, the influence of Ukrainian culture on his personality and directly on his creativity, and also to return the name of Malevich to Ukrainian culture. The viewer have a unique opportunity to see a screenplay of suprematist cinema, written by the artist in 1930, to see little-known archival footage with the artist, photos of his paintings with computer graphics, to hear the memoirs of his relatives as well as numerous art historians, gallerists and architects from Ukraine, Poland, Netherlands, Belarus and France.
