As part of the Ukranian Children's Film Club, we invite you to a screening of the Ukrainian children's artistic film "Ivan's Strength," directed by Viktor Andriienko, who will personally introduce the film on November 19th at 12:00 in Tallinn at the Sõprus Cinema (Vana-Posti 8).

The screening is organized by the Association of Ukrainian Organizations in Estonia with the support of the Integration Fund and the Ministry of Culture of Estonia.

🎬 "Ivan the Powerful" is a Ukrainian children's artistic film directed by Viktor Andriienko, based on the book by Alexander Gavrosh, "The Incredible Adventures of Ivan the Strong, the Strongest Man in the World."

The film features the circus strongman Ivan Firtsak, who was recognized as the world's strongest man in 1928. At the height of his career in 1928, he stopped performing abroad and returned to his homeland.

The film portrays various aspects of young Ivan's life as he overcame serious trials, toughened up, and became an unbeatable powerhouse of strength and spirit.

FILM SLOGAN: "TRUTH ALWAYS PREVAILS!"

🔹 The film "Ivan's Strength," directed by Viktor Andriienko, received the Lesya Ukrainka Award in the category of "Best Film for Children and Youth."

🔹 The film "IVAN'S STRENGTH" was a significant event for Ukrainian cinema as it was included in the school curriculum by the decision of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine and is regularly shown to young audiences on both small and large screens, not only in Ukraine but also in other countries!

After the screening, there will be a creative meeting with director Viktor Andriienko, where all interested individuals can ask questions, engage in discussions, and learn interesting facts about the filmmaking process.
