Part One: We follow Angela, an overworked production assistant who must drive around Bucharest to film the casting for a “safety at work” video commissioned by a multinational company. Soon she encounters Marian, a half-paralysed worker, who gets the part.

The film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, where it won a Special Jury Prize, and has also screened in Toronto and New York.
In cooperation with the European Film Academy, the European Film Month will take place from November 1st to December 7th at cinema Sõprus.
During six weeks, we will bring to the audience more than 30 films from contemporary European cinema classics. The focus of the program selection is the strong European auteur cinema of the last decades - Ruben Östlund, Paolo Sorrentino, Aki Kaurismäki, Paul Verhoeven, Yorgos Lanthimos, Pedro Almodóvar and Lars von Trier are just a few names in the program.
Signature directors have always been the strength of Sõprus cinema, and through these names we highlight dignified, versatile and extremely colorful European cinema in the cinema.
The screenings of the European Film Month will take place in Sõprus Kai Hall, Noblessner.
