What is the special program “Baltic Film Days 2023”?

In celebration of the Baltic Way, Cinema Sõprus will showcase recent Latvian and Lithuanian films on August 22-23.

The Baltic Film Days will open with the masterful period piece The Poet – the winner of the Best Baltic Film award at PÖFF. The evening will be continued by a historical coming-of-age story January, which was the Latvian submission for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. The following day, be ready to be hypnotized by the sci-fi fairy tale Vesper and end the two-day films’ journey with the heartwarming dramedy “Keep Smiling, Mom!”.

All the films will be screened with Estonian and English subtitles and are free of charge. Just book a 0-ticket on the Cinema Sõprus webpage and come to the cinema!
