Alex Cox's highly celebrated cult movie, Repo Man, is the story of the fallen punk Otto Maddox (Emilio Estevez), who accepts a job as a car repossessor for a large corporation. Although he didn't want to be a repo man, Otto starts enjoying his new exciting life ... and then things start to get pretty weird. Like, alien-weird. Repo Man is a punk film where the defined tropes and trends of the musical movement are recognizable. Rebellion against conformism and boredom. In the background of the movie, we are told another story, the story of the nuclear war and the demented society that made it possible. Taking back people's cars and hating alien ideologies is just the tip of the iceberg. The iceberg itself is a maniac culture under the hands of iron leaders Reagan and Thatcher, who are willing to sacrifice everything...Due to its timeliness, sense of the inevitable era and prism of humor, this is a film that never gets old
