Zane Oborenko was awarded Best Animation Artist at the Latvian Film Awards for her skillful use of the sand animation technique.

The film’s world premiere was at Leiden Shorts "Brand New Eyes" competition, where it received a Jury Special Mention, and it is also the winner of RIGA IFF National Short Film Competition.

ENG: A schoolteacher finds out that her son won’t pass the state exams which will shatter their dream of him studying at Cambridge. She’s left at the crossroads of a moral dilemma – to cheat or leave her conscience clear? The film has screened at several festivals, including PÖFF Shorts and Valga Hot Shorts, and won the Best Short Film award at the Lithuanian Film Awards in 2024.

The short film is an audiovisual experience, anabstract dance of freedom that reflects the joy andfragility of being. The film had its world premiere at Ottawa International Animation Festival (Canada) and has won the Grand Prix in the Nordic-Baltic Film Competition at Fredrikstad Animation Festival (Norway).
